About The Position

The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative environment as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care using evidence-based medicine and individualized care. The nurse facilitates all aspects of the patient visit experience. This role is on Trinity Health Grand Rapids’ Psychiatric Medical Unit, which serves general medical patients who have a co-existing behavioral health diagnosis. The position is full-time on the night shift, working 36 hours per week.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school and program.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Licensed in the State of Michigan.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience as a registered nurse required.
• In Grand Rapids, nurses with an ADN must enroll in a BSN program within six months of hire and complete it within four years of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
