Registered Nurse - Psychiatric Medical Adult
About The Position
The Registered Nurse works on the Psychiatric Medical Unit at Trinity Health–Grand Rapids, which serves general medical patients with co-existing behavioral health diagnoses. In a collaborative environment, the RN delivers excellent, evidence-based, individualized patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team and facilitates all aspects of the patient visit experience. This is a full-time night-shift position working 36 hours per week. The facility is Magnet-designated and has active shared decision-making councils, with an ongoing focus on improving outcomes and experiences for patients, staff, and the community.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school and program.
- Associate degree in Nursing required.
- Must be licensed in the State of Michigan.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience as a registered nurse is required.
- In Grand Rapids, ADN-prepared nurses must enroll in a BSN program within six months of hire and complete it within four years of hire.

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
