About The Position

MultiCare is seeking a staff Registered Nurse to join the hospital-based adult psychiatric care team at Navos. The role uses specialized nursing knowledge and training to deliver patient care through a multidisciplinary approach. Nurses are supported in participating in clinical decision-making, communicating with colleagues, developing professionally, and contributing to the future of nursing at MultiCare. This position is 0.6 FTE, working 24 hours per week in 12-hour night shifts. Navos, part of MultiCare’s Behavioral Health Network, provides behavioral health services, including inpatient psychiatric care, residential treatment, and community-based programs for people of all ages.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or a Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
Current BLS certification.
ACLS, NALS, PALS, TNCC, or NRP certification, as required by the facility or department.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
Certification in a specialty area preferred.
One year of experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating care on an ongoing basis.
Use nursing education and experience to deliver care through the nursing process in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care and patient experience and reduce costs.
Foster a learning environment for patients and families, nursing staff, and members of the health care team.
Advocate for ethical, holistic care that promotes patient autonomy, dignity, and health across diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
