About The Position

The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team, providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. The nurse is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience. The Psychiatric Medical Unit serves general medical patients who have a co-existing behavioral health diagnosis.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school and program.
• Associate degree in Nursing required.
• In Grand Rapids, nurses with an ADN must enroll in a BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete it within 4 years of hire.
• Licensed in the State of Michigan.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience as an RN required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
