About The Position
Join the team as a day-shift, PRN Recovery Room (PACU) Registered Nurse in Henderson, Texas. The Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients during a designated time frame. UT Health Henderson has 41 operational beds, a 24-hour emergency department designated as a Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center, surgical suites, advanced diagnostic technology, a maternity unit, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and an AASM-accredited sleep center. Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Maintain a current Texas RN license.
- Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
- ACLS certification.
- Obtain PALS certification within 90 days of hire.
- Complete a trauma certification course (TNCC, ATLS, or TCAR) within one year of hire.
