About The Position

Registered Nurse position in the Level III NICU at SMMC, a 212-bed acute care hospital with approximately 190 births per month. The role may involve floating to Mother-Baby to care for babies; nurses with couplet-care experience may float for full assignments. The start date is ASAP. The facility may call off one shift every two weeks. On-call is not required. Scheduling requests related to outside employment will not be considered.

Requirements

• At least two years of nursing experience, including at least one year in the specialty.
• Required certifications: BCLS, NRP, and PALS.
• All requested time off must be included at submission; approval depends on facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Level III NICU.
• Float to Mother-Baby to care for babies as needed; nurses with couplet-care experience may float for full assignments.
