About The Position

Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital’s Nursing Early Hire Program recruits nursing students who will graduate within a year. Selected applicants receive an offer and sign an agreement committing to work at Grayling Hospital for two years. The program provides $7,500 after the applicant accepts the position and signs the agreement, before beginning practice. After graduation, the recipient may begin work as a graduate nurse; after passing the nursing boards, they receive an additional $2,500. Award funds may be used at the recipient’s discretion, with no accounting required. Award recipients are placed in full-time positions with full employee benefits, beginning after graduation. Employees must be vaccinated or have lab-confirmed immunity for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella.
