About The Position

Munson Healthcare Charlevoix Hospital’s Nursing Early Hire Program offers nursing students who are graduating within one year the opportunity to secure a full-time nursing position before graduation. Selected candidates receive an award of $7,500 after accepting an offer and signing an agreement that specifies a two-year work commitment. After graduation, participants may choose to begin practice immediately as graduate nurses. Those who pass their nursing boards receive an additional $2,500. Award funds may be used at the recipient’s discretion, with no accounting required. Positions begin after graduation and include full employee benefits.

Employees must be vaccinated or have laboratory-confirmed immunity for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella. Employees must also receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year they are hired and annually thereafter, unless they receive an approved medical or religious exemption.

Requirements

• Must be a nursing student graduating within one year to apply.
