About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a core member of ProMedica’s patient care team, providing patient-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the diversity of human experience. The RN coordinates each patient’s plan of care and communicates with patients, families, and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. The RN assesses patients, formulates nursing diagnoses, plans and implements care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care plans. The role collaborates with fellow nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals and contribute to improvements in patient care, the work environment, and patient and staff satisfaction. This position is in the Obstetrics LDRP department at Toledo Hospital.
Requirements
- Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR training.
- Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
- For RNs in Ohio, complete 24 contact hours of continuing education during each licensure period, including at least 1 contact hour related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.
