About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is part of ProMedica’s patient care team and provides patient-centered care with sensitivity and respect for diverse experiences. The RN coordinates each patient’s plan of care and communicates with patients, families, and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. The RN assesses patients and formulates nursing diagnoses, then plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of care. The position works collaboratively with nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals and contribute to improvements in patient care, the work environment, and patient and staff satisfaction. Requirements

Current CPR training.
Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
Ability to respond effectively and efficiently to critical situations involving patients, personnel, and visitors in a professional manner.
Ability to function in a team environment.
Sound clinical skills and judgment.
Ability to critique daily practice for errors and pursue corrective action.
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and be open to new ideas.
