About The Position
In the HVAC, General Maintenance role, you will repair and maintain all HVAC systems at your assigned ProMedica facility. You will maintain equipment in the HVAC field and water-circulating pumps associated with the systems. You will monitor, diagnose, and perform maintenance on the building automation system for associated HVAC systems. This summary describes the general nature and level of work and is not exhaustive.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and similar materials.
- Working knowledge of electricity, fire and safety codes, and air-conditioning principles.
- Knowledge of circulating pumps and air-conditioning motors.
- Working knowledge of process steam and its use in HVAC systems, including steam valves and steam traps.
- Two years of experience.
- Valid driver's license in the state of employment and a clean driving record, as demonstrated by an MVR, to qualify for coverage under the Company's insurance policy.
Nice To Haves
- HVAC certificate or trade school.
- Working knowledge of building automation systems.
- Four years of experience or a combination of education and work experience.
