About The Position
ProMedica Security Officers help ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and employees while monitoring hospital facilities. They assist people with directions, regulate traffic and parking, and provide traffic control when needed. They investigate and report accidents, hazards, and incidents, and restrain combative patients as needed. Officers must complete required training and maintain current certifications. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license in the state of employment and a clean driving record, demonstrated by an MVR, to qualify for coverage under the Company's insurance policy.
- Complete the Basic Security Officer Certification through IAHSS within six months of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in security or a related field.
- Prior security experience.
Responsibilities
