The Staff Registered Nurse manages and delivers patient care using the nursing process. The role may require floating to other units and participating in on-call status. Population-specific competencies are required. The nurse manages and documents patient care, supervises and coordinates other licensed and non-licensed personnel as assigned, and provides guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students as appropriate. The position may involve additional or varied physical demands and/or respiratory fit-test requirements.

Requirements

Two years of RN experience.
Current Registered Nurse licensure in Oklahoma or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
Population-specific competencies.
Other certifications and competencies as required based on the service-line skill.

Responsibilities

Manage and deliver patient care using the nursing process.
Manage and document patient assessments and reassessments.
Develop plans of care.
Implement and evaluate appropriate patient care interventions.
Supervise and coordinate other licensed and non-licensed personnel in providing care to patients, as assigned.
Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate.
Float to other units as required.
Participate in on-call status if required.
