Graduate/Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Day/Evening/Nights-Up to $25,000 Sign on Bonus
About The Position
Arnot Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to people experiencing acute illness, injury, mental health crises, or trauma. The nurse works collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, support staff, and interdisciplinary teams. This is an onsite position at 600 Roe Ave, Elmira, NY 14905, with day, evening, or night shifts and a weekend and holiday rotation. The stated pay range is $43.70–$53.20 per hour, plus benefits, with a sign-on bonus of up to $25,000 for qualified RNs.
Requirements
- Current New York State nursing licensure, a limited permit, or eligibility for licensure.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

- Previous critical care experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity.
- Provide emergency nursing care, including medication administration, IV therapy, and cardiac monitoring.
- Accurately document patient care in the electronic health record.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff.
- Work with other interdisciplinary teams.
