Registered Nurse/SANE RN - Emergency Department-Nights-Up to $25,000 Sign on Bonus
About The Position
Arnot Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to people experiencing acute illness, injury, mental health crises, or trauma. The RN works in a collaborative team environment and provides emergency nursing care, including patient assessment, medication administration, IV therapy, and cardiac monitoring. The role is onsite at 600 Roe Ave, Elmira, NY 14905, and follows a night shift schedule with weekend and holiday rotation. The posted standard rate is $43.70–$53.20 per hour, with a sign-on bonus of up to $25,000 for qualified RNs.
Requirements
- Current New York State nursing licensure, a limited permit, or eligibility for licensure.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity.
- Provide emergency nursing care, including medication administration, IV therapy, and cardiac monitoring.
- Accurately document patient care in the electronic health record.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff.
- Work with other interdisciplinary teams.
