About The Position
UW Medical Center-Montlake - Urologic Oncology Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for a Per Diem Registered Nurse. This position offers a flexible schedule in an outpatient setting, focusing on patient-centered care for individuals with urologic cancers and general urology conditions. The clinic is recognized for its patient experience and hosts specialized multispecialty clinics for bladder and prostate cancer.
Requirements
- 2 years of recent oncology, urology, medical-surgical, or ambulatory nursing experience
- BLS
- Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with prostate, bladder, and other urologic cancers
- Perform catheter changes, specimen collection, and intravesical treatments in a clinic setting
- Perform port and PICC lining blood draws and care
- Assist our providers during minimally invasive procedures
- Conduct Epic InBasket triage and telephone triage
