About The Position
UW Medical Center-Montlake's Urology Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse for an outstanding opportunity. This clinic diagnoses and treats patients with urologic cancer and general urology conditions, and hosts specialized clinics for bladder and prostate cancer. The clinic has been recognized as a UW Medicine Patient Experience Top Performer for Medical Practice. The role involves providing life-changing care for urologic oncology patients in an acclaimed outpatient setting, with a mix of bedside and back-office responsibilities.
Requirements
- 2 years of recent oncology, urology, medical-surgical, or ambulatory nursing experience
- BLS
- Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with prostate, bladder, and other urologic cancers
- Perform catheter changes, specimen collection, and intravesical treatments in a clinic setting
- Perform port and PICC lining blood draws and care
- Assist providers during minimally invasive procedures, including intravesical chemotherapy installations
- Conduct Epic InBasket triage and telephone triage

- Certification premium - $1.25/hour
