About The Position
The Triage Nurse answers incoming phone calls regarding patients. The nurse consults with the Head Nurse and/or physician to present the patient’s problem and resolve it or direct the call to the appropriate person. Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) provides cancer care through a network of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nearly 100 locations. The organization offers clinical research and advanced treatments, including access to clinical trials and new therapies. The position is based at the Orange City Office.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse licensed in the state of residence.
- Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital.
- Current CPR certification.
- BLS certification required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment; FCS will provide a BLS course within the first 30 days.
Responsibilities
