Travel Registered Nurse Tele Job
About The Position
This is a travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Tele RN) assignment in Kansas City, KS, starting on 09/14/2026 and lasting for 15 weeks. The role involves providing telemetry-focused nursing care to adult patients, including continuous cardiac monitoring, rhythm interpretation, and prompt response to alarms and changes in patient status. Responsibilities also include administering medications, performing assessments, participating in care planning, supporting patient transitions, and potentially floating to adjacent units. The position is in a hospital setting and requires travel staffing.
Requirements
- Licensed KS RN and BLS certification
- Associate degree in nursing; bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
- 1+ year of Telemetry RN experience in a hospital setting
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with a weekend Fri–Sun schedule (Fri 19:00–Sun 07:30)
- Credentialing requirements: CBC, DS, and lab work completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance
- Willingness to float to other units as needed

Responsibilities
- Provide telemetry-focused nursing care to adult patients, including continuous cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation; promptly respond to alarms and changes in patient status.
- Administer prescribed medications and IV therapies, monitor patient responses, and document clinical data accurately.
- Perform ongoing patient assessments (vital signs, pain management, neuro checks) and participate in care planning and coordination with the interdisciplinary team.
- Support safe patient care transitions, assist with discharge planning, and educate patients and families about treatment plans as appropriate.
- May float to adjacent units (acute care or overflow/med-surg) based on unit needs; maintain safe practice and adapt to unit protocols.
