About The Position

Cascades at Orchard Park is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse to provide long-term and rehabilitation care to geriatric residents requiring 24/7 support. The role offers a supportive, team-oriented environment, personalized training, ongoing support, and opportunities for professional growth. The schedule is three 12-hour day shifts per week, 6 AM to 6 PM. Specific workdays are discussed during the interview, and weekends are not required.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Strong communication skills.

• Willingness to learn and uphold long-term care regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Order and manage medications, equipment, and supplies as prescribed.
• Prepare and administer treatments and medications as ordered by physicians.
• Notify physicians and/or family members of changes in a resident’s condition.
• Provide nursing services including tube feedings, suction, catheterization, wound care, dressing changes, packs, and irrigations as necessary.
• Continuously observe and monitor seriously ill residents.
• Advocate for residents and ensure care aligns with their care plans and personal wishes.
• Complete required documentation and charting accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide compassionate, professional nursing care to geriatric residents requiring 24/7 support.
