REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - CARDIAC REHAB
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides safe, competent nursing care to patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy, and provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Patient-centered care is the foundation for nursing care, and the nurse demonstrates Service Excellence standards. Professional nursing association standards of practice guide competent, safe, and professional practice. This is a PRN position with a flexible schedule at Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility serving North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. The facility offers major specialty services, including open heart surgery and neurosurgery, and certified trauma care as a regional specialty center.
Requirements
- Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
- One year of full-time experience in an acute care setting.
- RQI BLS and ACLS required.
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
- Must be able to identify and competently address needs of populations served.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course and required Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Healthcare Provider courses must be completed before working in a clinical setting; the courses will be provided during new hire orientation or upon transfer, according to RQI program guidelines.
