Registered Nurse RN Cardiac Rehab

About The Position
The Cardiac Rehab RN provides medical coverage for Cardiac Rehabilitation Phase II and III participants during exercise and education classes. The RN also provides medical coverage for the rehabilitation department in the event of Rapid Responses and Code Blue. As an active member of the interdisciplinary Cardiac Rehab team, the RN works collaboratively with Exercise Specialists, a Registered Dietician, Respiratory Therapy, and medical providers.
Requirements
- Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing for Illinois.
- American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Ability to interpret EKG rhythm strips, cardiac medications, and assessment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with cardiac and pulmonary patient management.
- Two years of clinical cardiac nursing experience.
