About The Position
The Registered Nurse in Cardiac Rehab is a professional who is accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care using evidence-based practice. The role also contributes to ongoing improvement in nursing-care quality by collecting and analyzing data. The position is based at Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, Wisconsin, and is offered as full-time or .8 FTE (64 hours per pay period), with 8-hour day shifts Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Associate degree in nursing.
- Active Wisconsin RN nursing license.
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire.
- Maintain specialty certification as required by the department’s scope of service.
- Current CPR or BLS credential.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Specialty certification desired.
- A minimum of three years practicing as an RN in a comparable setting is ideal.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification may be required depending on the primary department.
