Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac IMU
About The Position
The Registered Nurse works in the Cardiac IMU, a 30-bed Silver Level Beacon unit serving diverse patient populations with complex needs. The role evaluates assigned patients; plans, implements, and documents nursing care; performs patient tests; and administers medications within the RN scope of practice. The nurse supports patient independence by setting care goals and teaching patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills. The unit cares for patients across Cardiothoracic Surgery, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Structural Heart, Heart Failure, Pulmonary, and Neurologic (Stroke) services. Nurses practice in a dynamic, patient-centered, highly technical environment and can access Shared Governance, career advancement, and specialty education opportunities.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License.
Responsibilities
