About The Position

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is hiring experienced Registered Nurses for per diem shifts at Wayne County’s 192-bed county skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Lyons, New York. The facility is rated High Performing in Long-Term Care by U.S. News Best Nursing Homes 2025. RNs carry a resident assignment, direct LPNs and CNAs, and serve as charge nurse for their unit when assigned, with facility nursing leadership on site. The role offers W-2 hourly pay of $52.00 to $58.00, paid weekly. Experience determines the rate within the range, and night and weekend shifts are paid at the top of the range. Nurses choose their own availability and select open shifts through the BRIDGE App; there is no minimum number of hours. Available shifts include 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, and 10:30 PM–7:00 AM, with 12-hour shifts when available. Each standard shift includes eight paid hours and a half-hour unpaid meal break. Overtime over 40 hours and all ten County holidays are paid at time and a half. A confirmed shift canceled by the facility two hours or less before it starts is paid for four hours. Orientation is paid at the nurse’s rate. CLFC arranges and pays for fingerprinting, immunizations, screening, and license verification. New York license renewal and CPR renewal are reimbursed; continuing education and certifications are supported; and tuition assistance of up to $1,500 per year is available toward a BSN. Nurses receive a $500 referral bonus for bringing a nurse or aide onto the roster. Paid sick leave accrues under New York law, and CLFC professional liability insurance covers each shift. Program terms are provided in writing before acceptance. A Program Manager is available to address scheduling and pay questions.
