Registered Nurse (RN) Neurology Stroke/Complex Med-Surg
About The Position
Advocate Condell Medical Center is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its 32-bed Neurology Stroke/Medical Unit in Libertyville, Illinois. The unit is part of a recognized Primary Stroke Center and has a collaborative, supportive team of nurses and nursing assistants, including both new graduates and experienced professionals. New graduates are welcome. The RN provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The role uses evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassionate care, and communication skills to help create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. The position is scheduled for three 12-hour day shifts per week, totaling 36 hours weekly, with rotating weekends and holidays. The listed pay range is $38.20–$57.30.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
