About The Position
The Certified Wound and Ostomy Nurse (RN) plans, directs, coordinates, and provides high-quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process and the benchmark standards of the National Enterostomal Therapy Nursing Association. The position is in the Enterostomy department and reports to the Nursing Director.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Wound and ostomy experience within the past 6 months in an acute hospital.
- BLS certification.
- Certification in Wound Care and Management or Certification in Ostomy Care and Management from a nationally recognized program upon hire.
- Must acquire both wound care and ostomy care certifications within 6 months of being hired or transferred into the position.
Nice To Haves
- CETN or CWOCN certification is preferred.

- Plan, direct, coordinate, and provide individualized patient care using the nursing process and National Enterostomal Therapy Nursing Association benchmark standards.
