About The Position

Virtua Health is hiring a per-diem Registered Nurse to provide high-risk obstetric care at its Voorhees location. The RN assesses, diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care using outcome identification and evidence-based practice. As part of the healthcare team, the RN coordinates care and collaborates with colleagues, patients, and patients’ families or significant others while maintaining high standards of professional ethics. Direct High Risk OB experience is required. This is an on-site, part-time position on a 12-hour night shift from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The role is classified as per diem and lists 0 total weekly hours. The hourly rate is $56.17.

Requirements

Valid New Jersey RN license; approved licenses must be presented and maintained in accordance with the State of New Jersey Licensing Board.
Direct High Risk OB experience.
Knowledge of nursing skills, hospital practices, procedures, and standards.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to coordinate the efforts of a team of care providers.
Maintain and develop current nursing practice knowledge through ongoing education, journals, and other means.

Responsibilities
