About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Clarkston, WA. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting on 09/21/2026, with a day shift. The role involves providing RN care in an MSU/PCU setting within a long-term care nursing home, with the flexibility to assist in other departments as needed. The position offers guaranteed hours and weekly pay.

Requirements

Active Washington RN license
Experience in MSU/PCU with ability to flex across departments as needed
Proficiency in patient education, documentation, and timely processing of orders
Knowledge of equipment safety for PCU/Telemetry/MedSurg settings; ability to troubleshoot and access manuals
Commitment to infection control, standard precautions, and safety protocols including restraints policy as applicable
Ability to work in a travel assignment setting and communicate effectively with the care team

Responsibilities

Provide RN care in MSU/PCU with the ability to flex to other departments as needed.
Administer medications, monitor patient status, document nursing interventions and patient responses, and process physician orders in a timely manner.
Educate patients and significant others using appropriate education modalities; emphasize safety and adherence to care plans.
Maintain infection control practices, follow standard precautions, and ensure safe operation of equipment; troubleshoot and access manuals as needed.
Complete shift handoffs accurately, communicate with other departments, report critical lab values promptly, and restock/maintain carts and supplies.
Perform other duties as assigned within the PCU/Telemetry/MedSurg areas while upholding quality and safety standards.
