Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license; Georgia licensure or eligibility preferred
OR nursing experience with exposure to high-acuity perioperative environments; level 1 trauma exposure and neuro/vascular skills highly valued
Ability to work 10-hour daytime shifts, four days per week, with on-call duties on weekends and holidays
Proficiency with electronic platforms (Outlook, Workday, Shift Wizard) and related access tools
Capable of performing in a fast-paced surgical setting and communicating effectively with the OR team

Responsibilities

Deliver perioperative nursing care across pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases for surgical patients
Assist surgeons and anesthesia team; maintain sterile technique and proper patient positioning
Monitor patient status during procedures; respond to intraoperative changes and protect patient safety
Prepare and manage OR instruments, equipment, and supplies; adhere to infection control standards
Document care and events in electronic systems; coordinate with the perioperative team
Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to support neuro and vascular priorities and level 1 trauma care as indicated
Utilizes Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard for scheduling, communication, and documentation access
