About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical care in Concord, NH. The contract is for 13 weeks, starting on 10/05/2026. The role involves providing direct patient care to adult patients in a hospital setting, including assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with a healthcare team. The nurse will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, managing patient care plans, and supporting discharge planning. Flexibility to float to other facilities within the region may be required.

Requirements

Active RN license in New Hampshire or a compact state; NH licensure required at submission; NURSYS license verification for active licenses.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Minimum 1 year Med-Surg Acute Care travel experience.
EMR experience preferred: Cerner.
RTO (time off) must be included at submission.
Ability to work in a hospital setting; flexible to float to other NH facilities as needed.

Nice To Haves

2+ years of Med-Surg experience overall preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide Med-Surg nursing care to adult patients, including assessment, monitoring, and regular re-evaluation of care plans.
Administer medications, perform IV therapy and procedures per physician orders, and document care in the designated EMR system.
Monitor patient status, respond to calls, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and timely interventions.
Support discharge planning and patient/family education, coordinating with case management as needed.
Maintain accurate nursing notes, manage lines and devices, and uphold infection control and safety standards.
May be required to float to additional facilities within the region to support unit staffing needs.
