Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts.
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association).
Ability to float to other MS Tele floors and overflow units as needed.
Successfully complete onboarding assessments (ECG/Telemetry and Medications) with the required passing criteria; 85% threshold with a single attempt.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care for adult medical-surgical telemetry patients during 12-hour night shifts, including assessments, planning, and documentation.
Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret telemetry data, and promptly respond to dysrhythmias and evolving patient conditions.
Administer prescribed medications and therapies, ensuring safe medication administration and accurate documentation.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, communicate changes, and support discharge planning.
Float to like units and overflow areas as needed, maintaining high standards of care and patient safety across assignments.
Complete onboarding requirements, including pass/fail ECG/Telemetry and medications assessments, and maintain current ACLS/BLS certifications.
