About The Position
This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Registered Nurse on a general medical/surgical telemetry unit in an acute-care setting. The role involves providing direct patient care, monitoring clinical status, administering medications, documenting in the EHR, and collaborating with the care team. The position requires working 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend.
Requirements
- Current Massachusetts RN license in good standing at time of submission
- Current telemetry experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Current AHABLS certification
- EpIC EMR experience or proficiency with similar systems
- Ability to work 12-hour night shift with every other weekend on a 13-week assignment
- Start date: 10/05/2026; orientation and onboarding processes will be coordinated

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult and geriatric patients on a general medical/surgical telemetry unit
- Monitor clinical status and telemetry data; identify and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and ensure safe medication practices
- Document assessments and interventions in the electronic health record (EPIC EMR); communicate effectively with the care team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff, discharge planning, and patient/family education
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards; participate in unit rounding and handoffs
