About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical Telemetry in Plymouth, MA. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting on October 5, 2026, with 12-hour night shifts. The role involves providing direct patient care on Med Surg Telemetry units, monitoring cardiac rhythms, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The nurse will also be expected to float to related floors and overflow areas as needed. Onboarding requires passing telemetry and medication tests.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license in good standing (Massachusetts)
ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association) required
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience
Nursing degree (ASN/BSN) from an accredited program
Proficient in telemetry interpretation, dysrhythmia management, patient education, and care coordination
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and to float to like units as needed

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to adults on the Med Surg Telemetry unit, including monitoring and responding to cardiac rhythms
Perform accurate and timely medication administration, IV management, and routine patient assessments
Monitor telemetry data, identify dysrhythmias, and implement appropriate escalation per protocol
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans; ensure patient safety and comfort
Document care, assessments, and interventions clearly in the electronic medical record
Float to related floors and overflow areas as needed, maintaining high standards of care and professionalism
