About The Position

This is a 16-week travel assignment for a Registered Nurse specializing in Long-Term Care (LTC) in Berlin, Vermont. The role involves providing direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility, administering medications, performing assessments, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. The position requires flexibility to float to other units as needed and comfort working with residents who have dementia. The assignment is staffed through Healthforce Healthcare LLC, with bi-weekly orientations available.

Requirements

• BLS through American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience
• LTC experience required
• Floating required; willingness to float to other units as needed
• Comfort working with residents who have dementia

Nice To Haves

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including assessment and ongoing monitoring
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy, documenting responses and adverse events
• Perform routine and focused physical assessments, identify changes in condition, and communicate with the interdisciplinary team
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other disciplines to develop and update care plans; monitor residents with dementia and respond to behavioral and medical needs
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation in the facility’s electronic medical record; ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements
• Float to other units as needed to support patient care and unit coverage
