About The Position

Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. Uses critical thinking to assess patients’ conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and record pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient-care tasks to other staff and works as a team member to fulfill unit goals. Duties may vary by assigned unit or shift. The position is based in Elmhurst, Illinois, and may require floating to mother-baby as needed.

Requirements

Associate degree or higher in Nursing. If an Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of the position start date.
Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.
Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
Obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of the position start date.
Obtain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months of the position start date.
Obtain Certificate of Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) within one year of the position start date.

Nice To Haves

Labor & Delivery RN experience preferred.
