About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) unit. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and qualifications to provide quality patient care in a dynamic environment. This position will involve working nights and floating to the Medical-Surgical (MS) unit as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of LDR experience.
• Willingness to float to MS unit.
• Willingness to care for pediatric patients.
• Active RN license.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
• Completion of an intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring class within the past 24 months.
• Commitment to obtaining PALS certification prior to starting is mandatory.

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of LDR experience in a rural hospital setting.
• Previous travel nursing experience.
• EPIC experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care in a dynamic environment.
• Work nights in the Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) unit.
• Float to the Medical-Surgical (MS) unit as needed.
• Care for pediatric patients.
• Provide coverage during holiday rotations.
• Participate in virtual orientation.
• Be available when census levels are low, compensated at an on-call rate.
