About The Position

This is a travel opportunity for a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in The Dalles, Oregon. The assignment is temporary, lasting for 13 weeks, with a start date of 09/08/2026. The position involves night shifts, with 12-hour shifts (3x12), averaging 36 hours per week. The work occurs in a healthcare setting providing inpatient critical care services. The role is open to qualified RNs seeking a temporary assignment with a dedicated support structure.

Requirements

Current, active RN license in the United States with eligibility to practice in Oregon (state-specific licensure as required)
ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts in a high-acuity setting
Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills
Willingness to travel to the assignment location for the duration of the contract

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
Assess patient status, monitor vital signs and clinical conditions, and respond to changes with appropriate interventions
Administer medications and therapies as ordered, including invasive or complex treatments per protocol
Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; provide guidance and education as needed
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, communicate patient status, and ensure safe transitions
Document care activities, outcomes, and patient progress accurately and timely
