About The Position

This is a travel Registered Nurse - ICU assignment in Willits, California, with a start date of 09/14/2026 and a duration of 16 weeks. The position involves working nights on a 3x12-hour shift schedule. The role is in an ICU setting within a clinical, acute-care environment. The weekly pay is estimated between $2,112–$2,186. This is a temporary travel assignment.

Requirements

ICU nursing experience (minimum 1 year) required
Current, unrestricted RN license in the United States (state requirements per assignment)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts; capable of functioning in a high-acuity ICU environment
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills; able to supervise and coordinate care across disciplines

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform ICU-specific procedures per protocol.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans; document responses and adjust care as needed.
Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate tasks within the care team.
Coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapy, and other disciplines; communicate changes effectively.
Apply critical thinking and independent judgment to prioritize care and ensure patient safety.
