About The Position

Registered Nurse ICU travel assignment in Clearlake, California for a 13-week temporary role beginning 10/05/2026. Shift is 3x12-hour days (6:00 AM–6:30 PM). Works in a critical access hospital ICU setting with guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Requirements

• Current California RN license
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification within six months of hire
• Minimum two years of ICU experience or completion of an approved ICU training course
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Basic computer skills and ability to work in a fast-paced ICU environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to ICU patients, coordinating and delivering care across the adult patient population served on the unit
• Monitor patient status, interpret data, and respond to changes in clinical condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies according to physician orders and hospital protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and quality-of-care standards; educate patients and families as appropriate
