About The Position

This is a travel temporary assignment for a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a hospital in Concord, New Hampshire. The assignment is for 15 weeks, starting on 09/28/2026, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. The role involves providing direct nursing care to adult ICU patients, including continuous assessment, monitoring, and intervention. Responsibilities include managing complex ICU procedures, ventilator support, medication administration, and electronic documentation. The nurse will respond to clinical changes, participate in emergencies, and uphold safety and care standards. Flexibility to float to related areas is also required.

Requirements

Active RN license in New Hampshire or a Compact state at time of submission
ICU experience: 2–3 years
Cerner EMR experience preferred
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts; comfortable with a 36-hour minimum weekly schedule
Willingness to float to related areas (e.g., ED, step-down, medical-surgical with modified assignments) as needed within the assignment
Demonstrated ability to work independently, with strong critical thinking and clinical judgment

CVICU experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care for adult ICU patients, including continuous assessment and monitoring of status and response to treatment
Perform and interpret routine and complex ICU interventions, including hemodynamic monitoring and vasoactive medication administration as per unit protocols
Manage ventilator support and other advanced supportive therapies as appropriate; coordinate with respiratory care and medical teams
Administer medications, fluids, blood products, and nutrition support; monitor intake/output and patient responses
Document care in the electronic medical record (Cerner experience preferred) and communicate plan of care with the multidisciplinary team
Respond to clinical changes, participate in rapid response and codes as needed; uphold patient safety, infection control, and care standards
May participate in patient transport and assist with admission/discharge processes within the unit
