About The Position

This is a travel Registered Nurse - ICU assignment in Delta, Colorado. The assignment is for 13 weeks with a start date of 10/12/2026. The role involves providing direct patient care to critically ill adults in the ICU, monitoring telemetry and hemodynamic status, administering medications, documenting care, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team. The position is hospital-based within an intensive care unit.

Requirements

Active Colorado RN license to practice
BLS required upon hire
ACLS required within 3 months of start
PALS or ENPC required within 6 months of start (if traveler stays 6 months)

Nice To Haves

Two years of relevant ICU/critical care nursing experience preferred
Telemetry experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to critically ill adults in the ICU, delivering evidence-based nursing interventions.
Monitor telemetry and hemodynamic status; respond to changes in patient condition in a timely manner.
Administer medications and manage IV therapies and other clinical treatments as ordered.
Document care clearly and promptly in the electronic medical record; participate in daily rounds with the multidisciplinary team.
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other staff to develop and adjust care plans.
Maintain patient safety and infection control standards; assist with transfers and discharge planning as appropriate.
