Registered Nurse-HHA Instructor-Part Time -Peekskill, NY
About The Position
X-TREME CARE is seeking a Spanish-speaking Registered Nurse to teach its Department of Health-approved Home Health Aide (HHA) and Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification courses. The instructor manages course orientation, teaching, and evaluation; trains and motivates others to provide exceptional home care; and develops, coordinates, and conducts home health and in-service training programs. The instructor must maintain a training program compliant with quality management, Department of Health, and safety standards. The position is part-time and in person in Peekskill, New York, with a day-shift schedule Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for 14 days. Pay is $55 per hour.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse license in New York State.
- At least one year of home care experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish; Spanish is required.
- At least one year of nursing experience.
- Ability to commute to Peekskill, NY; the role is in person.
- Registered Nurse certification.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
