About The Position

Comfort Keepers is hiring a part-time Home Health Aide in the Avon area. Caregivers start at $18 per hour, while CNAs earn $20–$21 per hour. After five months of employment, Caregivers are eligible to enroll in the CNA training program and receive a wage increase to $20 per hour upon certification. Free CNA classes are available for applicants who do not have CNA certification.

The role involves assisting clients with personal care, mealtime, and housekeeping, while maintaining complete and compliant documentation and protecting client confidentiality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Must have held a driver's license for at least three years.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs as needed.
• Assist clients at mealtime and monitor eating habits.
• Ensure required documentation is complete and compliant.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding each client.
• Assist both male and female clients with personal care.
