Bilingual Registered Nurse-HHA Instructor-Part Time -Peekskill, NY
About The Position
X-TREME CARE is seeking a Spanish-speaking Registered Nurse to teach its New York State Department of Health-approved Home Health Aide (HHA) and Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification courses. The instructor manages course orientation, teaching, and evaluation; trains and motivates students to provide exceptional home care; and develops, coordinates, and conducts home health and in-service training programs. The instructor maintains training programs in compliance with quality management, Department of Health, and safety standards. This is a part-time, in-person position in Peekskill, New York, scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for 14 days.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse license in New York State.
- At least one year of nursing experience.
- At least one year of home health care experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish; Spanish is required.
- Ability to commute to Peekskill, NY, and work in person.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
