PCA/HHA -Peekskill, NY
About The Position
X-Treme Care is seeking a Spanish-speaking Registered Nurse to teach DOH-approved Home Health Aide (HHA) and Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification courses. The role manages course orientation, instruction, and evaluation; trains and motivates learners to provide exceptional home care; and develops, coordinates, and conducts home health and in-service training programs. The instructor maintains training programs in compliance with quality management, Department of Health, and safety standards. The position is based in person in Peekskill, New York, and is part time, scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for 14 days. Compensation is $55.00 per hour. Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse license in New York State.
- At least one year of nursing experience.
- At least one year of home health care experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish; Spanish is required.
- Ability to commute to Peekskill, NY.
- Work in person.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
