About The Position
ComForCare Brooklyn is hiring certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) or Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) for consistent, part-time cases in Queens. Caregivers are matched thoughtfully with clients and receive responsive communication, ongoing training, and field support. The role provides hands-on care and companionship based on each client’s needs. Compensation is $20–$24 per hour.
Requirements
- Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certification.
- Full Physical Report and drug screening completed within the past 12 months.
- Two professional reference letters from within the past three years.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Empathy, reliability, and compassion.
Responsibilities
- Provide dressing, grooming, and hygiene assistance.
- Assist clients with ambulation around the house.
- Encourage exercise and fluid intake.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Prepare meals.
- Run errands.
- Provide transportation to appointments.
- Offer companionship and conversation.
