About The Position

LHC Group is hiring a part-time, PRN Registered Nurse Field Assessor in Louisville, Kentucky. The nurse completes hands-off Long Term Care insurance assessments, gathering claimant demographics, physician information, and a current medication list, and evaluating the claimant’s functional independence. Assessments also include a brief cognitive screening and evaluation of the claimant’s ability to complete activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs). The role uses a point-of-care web application or system on a laptop or tablet for real-time documentation. The position is not eligible for benefits. Requirements

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of the client’s age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
• Technological ability to use a point-of-care web application or system on a laptop or tablet for real-time documentation.

• One or more years of RN experience.

• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
