About The Position
Medical Delivery Services is contracting independent drivers as 1099 contractors to complete medical delivery routes using their own vehicles. The role is part-time, with route availability based on the days the driver can operate. Delivery days are 6–8 hours, with route release times approximately 3:30 a.m. and subject to variation. Compensation averages $140 per day based on route volume, miles, and availability, and is calculated using per-mile and per-stop rates. Weekly settlements with direct deposit are available. This is not a W-2 position; contractors manage their own taxes, insurance, fuel, and other expenses. The posting says drivers may start within five business days.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license.
- Use a vehicle from model year 2016 or newer: sedan, hatchback, crossover, SUV, or minivan.
- Carry insurance with $100,000 personal/$300,000 bodily injury and $50,000 property damage coverage.
- Have a safe driving record.
- Use a personal vehicle for deliveries.
- Manage own taxes, insurance, fuel, and expenses as an independent contractor.
Responsibilities
- Complete medical pickups and deliveries using a personal vehicle.
