About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room care in Columbia, MO. The contract is for 13 weeks, starting on 08/31/2026. The role is based in a hospital setting, specifically within an adult Emergency Department that handles a mix of high-acuity presentations and a steady admission flow. The nurse will work a 5x8 day shift pattern and is guaranteed 36 hours per week, with a weekly pay range of $2,007 to $2,079.

Requirements

3-5 years of Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
Strong ED clinical skills with the ability to support a high-admission environment
Proficiency in 12-lead ECG interpretation, telemetry interpretation, and basic cardioversion/defibrillation
Airway management skills including CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and airway support procedures
Ability to function effectively in an adult emergency care setting and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care for adult ED patients in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
Lead care for time-sensitive presentations and support high admission rates with efficient triage and throughput.
Perform and interpret 12-lead ECGs, assist with tele-interpretation and cardioversion/defibrillation as clinically indicated.
Manage airway and ventilatory support, including CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and tracheostomy care as required.
Establish and maintain IV access and line management; document care in the electronic health record; collaborate with physicians, techs, and ancillary staff to optimize patient flow.
